Medical coding is the transformation of healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes. Diagnoses & procedure codes are taken from medical record documentation from a physician's note, laboratory and radiologic results.

It's okay, you don’t need prior medical experience to start in medical coding. If you’re new to the field, you’ll get a CPC-A (Apprentice) certification. After 2 years, you’ll be able to drop the "apprentice."

Our Certificate of Completion gives you credit for 1 year of experience, which will help show your knowledge.

Yes! We offer an online internship with signing up for the AAPC Practicode, a tool, where you will gain the skills and confidence to code real world cases from hundreds of actual medical records, redacted from HIPAA compliance. With Practicode you will get a personalized breakdown of your skill gaps and a roadmap for reaching job readiness.

Taking Practicode will take 1 year off of your Apprentice "A" status

Registration is open every day! When you're ready to start your CPC class, just pick a start date, fill out the registration form, and pay your deposit. After that, we will handle the rest!

This is a self-paced class, so you create your own study schedule and work at your own speed."

As an AAPC Approved Instructor, we teach the AAPC PMCC CPC®. We offer 3 class options:

1. Entry Level

2. Intermediate Level

3. Advanced Level

Each class offers additional educational options to help enhance your studies to become a Certified Professional Coder, please see each class and what's included. All classes are 6 months, study at your own pace.

We also offer monthly CPC Review Classes. This class is for anyone who hasn't successfully passed the CPC exam and needs assistance.

(This class starts monthly, held on Saturday mornings 8a-12p eastern time.)

The cost of our CPC Online classes ranges from $1,200 to $3,200.

After your nonrefundable deposit of $350 is paid, your remaining balance will be invoiced and can be paid by using the following:

*AfterPay (bi-weekly or monthly)

*PayPal (bi-weekly or monthly)

*(Non-refundable deposit goes towards class price which is non-transferrable to a new class date & there is a card processing fee attached to all invoices).

Our success rate with students who complete our course and attain their CPC certification is 86%.

Each CPC Class option is study at your own pace with 6 month access. Monthly extensions are available (for an additional fee $59.95). A syllabus is attached to give you an schedule overview.

The CPC Review Class is held monthly on Saturday mornings 8a-12p, eastern time.

After you register and pay your nonrefundable deposit, you’ll receive a Welcome Email within 24 hours! Next, your invoice will be sent within 24-48 hours (if the weekend, the next business day). You’ll need to pay the full invoice within 7 days, or you'll lose your deposit. Please note, your start date can’t be changed.

Once your full payment is received, we’ll order your medical coding books from the AAPC Warehouse, and they should arrive in 7-10 days. We’ll also set up your Blackboard access, which may take up to 7 business days.
