What a Month: Coders Connect Recap, Last Chance Summer Savings, and Something New Is Coming

July has been one of the most memorable months in the history of Cohens Coding and Consulting. We hosted our 4th annual Coders Connect Seminar, our Summer School Special is in its final weeks, and something exciting is on the horizon that we cannot wait to share with you.

Whether you are just beginning your journey into medical coding, deep in study for your CPC exam, newly certified and trying to figure out your next move, or an experienced coder looking to sharpen your skills and earn CEUs — there is something in this post for you.

On July 11, 2026 we hosted Coders Connect Seminar for the fourth consecutive year — and we have to be honest with you. This one was special.

A room full of medical coding professionals from across the United States logged on together on a Saturday morning and spent the day investing in their education, their craft, and their community. Students who are still preparing for certification. Newly certified coders figuring out their career path. Experienced HIM professionals earning their continuing education credits and connecting with peers who understand this work at the deepest level.

That is what Coders Connect has always been about. Not just the CEUs — although 6 AAPC and AHIMA-approved CEUs in a single day is genuinely hard to beat. But the room. The conversation. The reminder that you are not doing this alone.

Here is what attendees experienced on July 11th:

Something New Is Coming for CPC Students — And It Is Going to Change Everything

We have been building something behind the scenes for the past several months. Something we have wanted to create for a long time because we kept seeing the same gap in medical coding education over and over again.
